ALTERNATES: What does it mean to be an "Alternate" on the cast list?
If someone cancels, we'll email to offer you the spot. Alternates are also encouraged to arrive early for standby for a very good chance at a spot.

STANDBY: What are my chances of getting up if I standby?
If you arrive EARLY, very good. In over two years, we have never turned away a standby comic who arrived EARLY. Someday we might book a show and have every single comic arrive on time. But it hasn't happened yet.

START TIME: Why are you such hard-hearted-Hannahs about starting on time?
There are shows before and after us so we run a tight ship that starts on time and ends on time.

LOSING YOUR SPOT: Whaddaya mean, my booking turns into a standby spot if I'm late? Is this some kind of Cinderella thing?
We mean, if some eager soul turns up 20 minutes early for standby and you stroll in late, chances are your spot is gone.

CANCELLATIONS: What if I'm booked but I can’t make it?
If you need to cancel please send an e-mail so we can give your spot to someone else. If you need to cancel last minute, please call or text the cell phone number we send out with the cast list and all will be forgiven.

NO-SHOWS: What if I'm booked and I don't cancel and I don't show up?
If you no-show more than once you'll be banned for a month.

LINE UP: What order we go up?
We do a random draw during the show.

IS THIS FAIR: Who gets booked?
We have more comics than spots, so we let random.org decide.

IMPROVING YOUR CHANCES: How can I improve my chances to get booked?
Be flexible. When we have two shows on the same night, if you request "either" you get two chances.

REQUESTING A SPOT: Can I book spots far in advance?
No. We like to keep things fresh. Please wait for the booking email before requesting a spot.

REQUESTING A SPECIAL SPOT: I'm from out of town ... or ... I need to prep for a special show. Can I get up on a certain week?
